Lost City Comics

Writing comics in strip form doesn’t come naturally for me. So when I wrote the first of these strips for the Cloudscape book Funday Sunnies, I was pleasantly surprised at how it turned out. I took my inspiration from comic strips of the past that gave children seemingly adult parts to play- Peanuts, Mafalda, Calvin and Hobbes. In these comics the young characters regularly have more profound things to say about the world than the adults around them. I also like the idea of a news organization run by children. It reminds me of something, I dunno.
