I like that look in panel 5. It says, “Really? Earning my card? You drank so much of the Kool-Aid that shooting a frightened teenage girl is an act of glory for you? Idiot!”

I’ve been trying to make allusions to it, but I haven’t said anything too straightforward yet. Some of the New Youth have a “zero” card that they wear, like Boyu in those bottom two panels. That’s the card that can be earned. Apparently killing Matilda would earn someone a card. 🙁

I dunno, it’s really breaking my suspension of disbelief she decided to go with a sting-operation involving a coerced member of the opposing faction rather than the paramilitary organization.

I mean is this 24, where Jack Bauer gets to be the go-to guy for all the terrorists’ most sensitive operations, up to and including pulling the trigger on the President?

well ‘sting-operation’ in it being deceptive, that’s all, not as in catching them in their crime.

      anyway, great action panels!

There *is* more to her plan than hanging around on balconies and relying on Jackson for backup. Whether or not the sum total is a GOOD plan, I guess we’ll see.
