I actually drew most of the street scenes in this comic with Google Street View open in front of me, so, technically, most of these locations are 100% real places, give or take several centuries of decay and rebuilding. The house Yakob and Elenne live in is in the neighbourhood that I lived in for two months about a decade ago.

The Kickstarter to print New World, the anthology this story will be appearing in, is doing gangbusters! It’s already past its target and creeping towards 150% fulfillment as of this writing. You should have a look at it, because it’s really really good.
